The Training of Trainer has
been hold in Florence, Italy the 13th – 19th April 2008.
The action objective has been foreseen to help Asian Tour Operators to improve service delivery to meet international standards of quality (as far as tourism sector is concerned).
Next step will be to establish new linkages with the tourism industry promoting local endogenous potentials and resources.
Apart from targeted technical assistance, a particular focus will be placed in the implementation of a bottom-up approach and the establishment of local partnership and consensus in the identification and construction of specific tourism products/packages.
These capacity
building aspects will be developed by a Training of Trainers activity.
